This modeling project presents the famous Jewish sanctuary
rebuilt by Herod the Great and destroyed by the Romans
in 70 A.D. Our model shows the Temple at its final stage
of development before the Jewish Revolt started in 66
A.D. The Second Temple Project is part of the larger
Jerusalem Reborn Project undertaken jointly by Bar-Ilan
University, the Ingeborg Rennert Center for Jerusalem
Studies, and UCLA.
